Avoid The Devastation By Taking Proper Steps

As we all know, sustainable climate change is creating new problems one after another at the present moment. According to researches, the negative impacts if the current warning has become so severe to humans and the environment that it is preventing sustainable development goals for our earth and its ecosystem. If we consider the present scenario, we are going to need a significant amount of effort by every person to destroy the consequences and prevent them from happening. The first and the most important thing we can do is by limiting global warming to 1.5 C. You will be surprised by the facts that are just limiting it has such surprising effects. Let's have a look at some:

  • Water scarcity will get experienced by 50% less population.
  • Declination of crop yields along with their risks, will be reduced by one-third.
  • Risks regarding human security, livelihood, economic growth, good security and biodiversity will get reduced.
  • The Greenland ice sheets of Antarctica will not be at any risk of instability.
  • The sea-level rise is a significant risk which will not be an issue as around 10 million fewer people will experience it.

There had also found to be some setbacks when an evaluation of sustainable development goals progress took place. Some of them are:

  • Increase in the Malaria infection
  • Conflicts, disasters related to climate change like drought may rise hunger.
  • There will be consequences for sanitation services
  • Gaps may come in education

There is a particular bond between sustainable development and climate change which makes them inseparable. The thing is, we can consider climate change as a threat. A threat that proliferates current warning regarding the society, economy and environment problems. Also, the results get observed in current warming like:

  • The preindustrial global average temperature has become higher by 1 degree C, which is not good at all, and there is no uniformity when it comes to warming.
  • If we consider this global average temperature, then there are some places, for instance, the Arctic is experiencing more than twice temperature change.
  • In terms of human livelihood, there have been notable changes which you can't just ignore.
  • The only places which got benefits from this climate change are the agriculture-based countries. The bilateral migration got an increase of 1.9% by experiencing a 1 degree higher average temperature.

Also, if we compare the current scenario with the previous one, we got an alert that biodiversity and the coral reefs are at a higher risk. Furthermore, dryland, the Arctic, least developed countries and some small islands regions gets targeted by climate change and will be experiencing some non-uniform changes. For instance, the Olympia of Washington is experiencing global warming impacts. Also, the southern hemisphere subtropics and the tropics have been through some economic slowdowns because of the warming. Moreover, the crop yield is also reduced significantly in these regions. According to research, we are encountering a particular stage of climate change, which if not tackled right now, it will stand like a barricade between the sustainable development goals and us. Purposes like preventing hunger, preserving life on earth and poverty will become more and more challenging to achieve as time passes if we didn't take a specific action. Hence, we can conclude that climate change is a real thing which one cannot ignore. The threats are been multiplied at every interval, which will be devastating as time is passed. We will be needing to maintain the global average temperature to 1.5 degrees C to see changes significant enough to make a new plan for achieving goals. There have been more threats than good outcomes of this climate change, and hence, we must prevent it's the deadly impact on our biodiversity.
